とんかつの超人気店が出店するカレー屋のカツ丼
蒲田ひとり飯、今回はとんかつ激戦区蒲田の超有名店「檍」が2010年に出店したカレー屋「とんかつ檍のカレー屋 いっぺこっぺ」のカツ丼を食べてきました！
以前から「檍のロースかつ」で食べられるカツ丼の存在は知っていたものの、コスパ抜群の「ロースかつカレー」ばかりを食べていました。そんな事では新しい発見には出会えないのであえての「カツ丼」に初挑戦！
こちらのお店はとんかつ百名店の「檍」が出店するカレー屋さんで、「カレー百名店2022」にも選ばれています！「檍」のロースかつがのったカツカレーが1,000円で食べられるという驚きのコストパフォーマンスを誇る名店です。

場所は蒲田駅東口から徒歩3分。「とんかつ 檍」の隣です。
開店直後の11:05で並び無し。先客も4名。これはラッキーです♪
檍といっぺこっぺは大体行列ができているので、店の前を通って並んでなければ無条件で入っちゃいますね。
入口付近には貼り紙。
- 絶品！ササミかつカレー
- あと乗せ！檍の上カツ丼
- 手作り！メンチカツカレー
おー！気になるメニューが３つもあります。今日はノーマルのカツ丼を食べますが、あと3回は新メニューを楽しめます。嬉しいですね。
あと乗せのカツ丼とはどういうものなのでしょうか？ちょっと想像がつかないので、次回は「檍の上カツ丼」で決まり！！！
注文・着席
お店に入ったら空席に座って店員さんへオーダー「カツ丼」を伝えます。
檍の上カツ丼にすればよかったかと若干後悔し始めました。1,200円と1,500円だと300円しか変わらないんですよね。25%増しをどう見るかですが、今回は初めてのカツ丼なのでノーマルタイプで我慢します。
男性店員がひたすらカツを揚げて、それ以外を女性店員さんが行っているようです。カツ丼の卵とじは女性店員さんの役目っぽい。
檍のカツは塩で食べるのが美味しいのですが、カツ丼だと卵とじされているので塩で食べる事ができないのが難点。ただ、上カツ丼だとカツが別皿なので、カツだけを塩で食べる事が可能。はい、次回は上カツ丼で決定！！！
卓上にはおなじみの岩塩。「ピンクソルト」「ナマック」があります。今回は卵とじされているので利用できません。
実食
カツ丼と豚汁が到着！
大きいカツに具沢山の豚汁です。いいですね～。
カツ丼
まずカツが大きい！さすがとんかつ専門店のカツ丼です。
卵とじされたカツを食べるとなんともカツがジューシー、さらに脂の甘さとタレの甘さが合わさってご飯にピッタリ。玉子もとろっとろで最高ですね。箸がとまりません。
檍のとんかつってとにかく脂が美味しいんです。とっても甘い味わいがあって癖になります。それを塩で食べるのがとにかく美味しいのですが、カツ丼として食べるのも美味しい！
ただ若干タレが多いかなと思いました。同じとんかつ専門店のカツ丼だと「まるやま食堂」が有名ですが、個人的には「まるやま食堂」に軍配があがるかなと…。
ただあちらは1,500円だったので、次回に檍の上カツ丼（1,500円）を食べたうえで、どちらの方がより好みかを決めたいと思います。やはり同じ条件での勝負にしないと比較はできないですよね。個人的には現時点の蒲田カツ丼頂上決戦です！楽しみ♪
豚汁
大振りの豚肉がゴロゴロ入った具沢山の豚汁！
甘めの味付けです。有名店はこういった脇役も丁寧な仕事がされているので良いです。やっぱりそこら辺のお店に入るよりも、少し並んで美味しいお店で食事を楽しみたいですね。至福のひととき。

ノーマルのカツ丼も美味しかったですが、やはりカツが別盛されてくる「上カツ丼」がどうしても気になってしまいましたので、次回はそちらにチャレンジしてきます！
